Thomas Torcivia, PA-C, is a physician assistant educator based in Los Angeles. He earned his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Charles R. Drew University of 麻豆传媒女网红. Clinically, Thomas has experience working as a PA in both emergency medicine and urgent care.

Before transitioning into medicine, Thomas was a professional musician and music teacher. He draws upon the discipline, creativity, and communication skills honed during his musical career to enhance his effectiveness as a PA educator and provider. His background in music education contributes to his dynamic teaching style and ability to engage students in the learning process.

As a faculty member at Charles R. Drew University, Thomas is committed to advancing the institution鈥檚 mission of cultivating diverse health professional leaders dedicated to social justice and health equity for underserved populations through outstanding education, research, clinical service, and community engagement.

Outside of his professional roles, Thomas enjoys spending time with friends and family as well as dancing, cooking, hiking and yoga.
