Dr. Janet Sullivan, MD, MS is an Associate Professor and Associate Academic Coordinator at Charles R. Drew University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½Å®Íøºì, where she has been a dedicated faculty member since 2024. She teaches courses in several areas including Clinical Medicine, Human Pathophysiology, and Physical Diagnosis, and actively contributes to institutional development through service on academic and administrative committees. With nearly a decade of experience in medical education, Dr. Sullivan is committed to bridging foundational science and clinical application, an approach she has used to train future healthcare providers in academic programs across the country.

Dr. Sullivan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell Biology and Biotechnology from SUNY Plattsburgh, a Master of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from The Ohio State University, and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Missouri. Following medical school, she completed her residency training in Pediatrics and spent several years in private pediatric practice before transitioning to a career in medical education.

In addition to teaching and clinical work, Dr. Sullivan has an extensive background in medical research, having conducted studies at The Ohio State University, Stanford University, and the University of Missouri. Her work has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications in well-known and highly respected scientific and medical journals, reflecting her commitment to advancing biomedical knowledge and evidence-based care.
