Martha Bob-Manuel, MD is a faculty member and the Student Success Team Lead at Charles R. Drew University of 麻豆传媒女网红 (CDU), where she plays a pivotal role in supporting the academic and personal development of Physician Assistant (PA) students. In her capacity as Student Success Team Lead, Dr. Bob-Manuel oversees the design and implementation of student-centered initiatives, provides personalized mentorship, and fosters a culture of academic excellence and resilience within the program.
She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Xavier University School of Medicine and brings years of clinical experience, including externships at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago and Essen Medical Associates in New York. Her background enriches her academic work, allowing her to bridge real-world healthcare practice with educational strategy.
Dr. Bob-Manuel is a certified educator from the Association of College and University Educators and the American Council on Educators- ACUE/ACE Effective Teaching Practices, and she actively contributes to research focused on evidence-based instructional methods and statistical applications in education. Her scholarly work includes co-authorship of a publication on compassion in clinical care and its measurable impact on patient outcomes.
Deeply committed to global health, she has participated in numerous medical outreach missions across Africa, the Caribbean, and the United States including Nigeria, Benin Republic, Aruba, Chicago, and Los Angeles providing essential care to underserved and marginalized communities.
In recognition of her dedication to student development and inclusive education, she has received multiple honors, including the Servant Leadership Award, Compassionate Faculty Award, and induction into the Pi Alpha Honor Society, a distinction recognizing significant academic achievement and leadership within the PA profession.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Dr. Bob-Manuel enjoys spending quality time with her family and actively serves as the coordinator of the Youth Ministry at her local church in the United States. Looking ahead, she aspires to become a principal investigator (P.I.) and a transformative academic administrator, dedicated to advancing student success and driving institutional growth through research, innovation, and visionary leadership.
